Nidec Shimpo Pottery Wheel models available

Whisper-T: offers adjustable leg heights (perfect for a taller potter), greater stability when working with larger pieces of clay (my preference over 2kgs), and is super quiet (ideal if you planning on long throwing sessions, watching tutorials or having your dog curled up next to you. The splash pan and side wings are removable, and although heavier to move (45kg, two-person lift), they pack down to a compact size for transport.

RK-55: Lightweight and easy to move on your own (23kg), making it a great choice for beginners, schools, or community projects. Best suited for smaller pieces, with fixed leg height at a lower setting

We don’t require a security deposit, but please bring:

Driver’s licence (or passport)
Current utility bill (to confirm address)

We’ll photograph your ID at pickup or delivery.

Lifting the pottery wheels:

The Whisper-Ts are super sturdy, but do weigh 45kgs. We ask that you assist us in moving the wheel from our studio to your car for pickup, or from our vehicle into your home for delivery. We will carry one side, if you are able to carry the other side that would be great. If this isn't possible, please add a note at time of booking. NB: Your booking time may need to be tweaked if we need to provide an additional resource or you request delivery. The RK-55 weighs 24kgs and is manageable on your own, or we can assist.
