These are two of my favourite clays.
What's included: A total of 4kgs of high quality clay, vacuum sealed and packaged as though it is a gift especially for you :)
2kgs of Potclays white special Stoneware - beautiful to throw on the wheel. A great clay for beginners to seasoned potter. Robust, handles well, fires smooth. Gorgeous with Amaco liquid paint on glaze river birch.
Firing range between 1200 - 1300
2kgs of Potclays Flecked Stoneware - has a little bit of grog in this to keep it super stable while throwing on the wheel. Even on off days, this is my go clay for a successful throwing session. It is rough to touch after a bisque fire. A white gloss glaze lets the random flecked pull through. Handles Amaco liquid paint on glaze River Birch nicely - 3 coats. Currently testing other glazes.
