Pottery for Rest Homes & Retirement villages,

We offer structured and flexible pottery options for retirement villages, rest homes & Care homes

Whether you’re looking for independent access to equipment, guided sessions, or something in between, we can tailor a setup to suit your space.

Option 1: Pottery equipment hire – Independent Creativity

Ideal for settings where participants already have some experience and would like access to wheels in their own time.

For multi-wheel setups, we typically use our lightweight RK-55 wheels, which are easier to position within shared spaces. Aspire Mini tabletop wheels are also available where space is limited or portability is important.

For single, longer-term placements in a fixed location, the Whisper-T may be suitable.

We can also provide access to a slab roller — a wonderful option for those who prefer hand-building over wheel throwing.

Equipment is available in weekly or monthly rental blocks.

Optional add-ons:
• Clay and tools
• Glazing and firing
• On-site tutoring support

This option works well for retirement villages with an established creative programme, or schools running ongoing art classes.

Option 2: Fully Supported Pottery Sessions

A structured, hands-on pottery experience with a tutor providing everything needed for an engaging session.

Ideal for:
• Beginners
• Guided group activities in retirement villages or rest homes

Depending on your space and group size, we can provide a mix of RK-55 wheels, Aspire Mini wheels, and slab roller access to suit the participants.

Flexible scheduling options:
• One-off workshops
• Weekly sessions
• Short-term programmes

We can also leave selected equipment on-site for continued creativity, and offer basic training for your staff so they can support participants between sessions.

All-inclusive sessions cover clay, tools, underglaze, glaze, and both bisque and glaze firings.

Or Something In Between?

Every setting is different.

We’re happy to tailor a solution that suits your space, group size and level of support required.
