Hello!

Welcome to potter&dabble, our boutique pottery wheel rental business, based in Rodney, Auckland, New Zealand. We have a range of Nidec Shimpo pottery wheels, including the Whisper-T, RK-55 & the mini Aspire - all available to RENT either by the week at our casual rates, or make the most of our 4 week and 8 weeks specials. We also have slab rollers and griffin grips for your to try. Pickup from our little studio in Dairy Flat, and setup the wheel at home. Alternatively opt for delivery and we will come to you, set it up at home, and come and pick it up when you finish!

Keen to gather your friends or workmates and give pottery a go? Or looking at bringing a creative activity to a rest home or school. Our mobile setup includes everything you need from tutors to clay for a memorable, tactile experience at your place.

Rent a pottery wheel & potter at home

We have 2 different full size pottery wheels available for RENT: The Whisper-T and RK-55. Pricing is the same. Make the most of our one or two month special rates, or choose our casual weekly rate

Prepaid 4 week rental: $300

Got a space ready at home and a list of items you want to create? Book & pay 4 weeks upfront, and pay $300.

Casual: $100 per week

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience

I hired a wheel from Potter and Dabble for 4 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Communications were efficient and friendly and the wheel was well maintained and ran smoothly. I hired a pottery wheel for two weeks from Potter&Dabble. The process was simple with very good communication. Collection was easy and returning the wheel just as easy.
Having the opportunity to be able to practise at home to compliment the course I am attending one evening a week was so valuable. I gained confidence and was able to learn from my mistakes. I could fit a few hours in most days and really enjoyed being able to make a few okay pieces.
I highly recommend Potter&Dabble to anyone who has done a beginner pottery wheel throwing course. I most definitely will hire from Louise again.
