Pottery Wheel rentals for Auckland Studios

Sometimes a pottery studio just needs another wheel or two—without needing to purchase more equipment permanently.

You might be adding spaces to a popular class, bringing in a visiting tutor, preparing for a one-off workshop or keeping things moving while one of your own wheels is being serviced.

potter&dabble has a small fleet of Nidec Shimpo Rk-55 pottery wheels available for short-term rental. Pickup from our depot in Dairy Flat or ask us to quote on delivery.

Because studio requirements and levels of use can vary considerably, studio hire is priced separately from our standard at-home wheel rentals and quoted according to the number of wheels, hire period and expected use. Commercial hire terms apply.

Working alongside local pottery studios and tutors

We’re also interested in working alongside Auckland pottery studios and tutors on mobile pottery projects.

Schools, community organisations and other groups sometimes approach us about bringing pottery into their space. Where the project and location are suitable, potter&dabble can supply the wheels and take care of delivery and on-site setup, while a local studio or tutor provides teaching and, where available, glazing and firing support.

This allows each business to contribute what it already does well—and can make projects possible that neither of us may be able to deliver alone.
