Keane Ceramics Mid Fire Red Earth is a deep red clay. Gorgeous and smooth. Suitable for a range of small to medium throwing and hand building applications. Fires a rich deep oxidation. Cone 6 maximum temperature.
NB: the red clay seems to go everywhere. Allow extra cleaning time, and a dedicated sponge.
Bisque: 1000 firing temp at cone 06
Glaze 1222 firing temp at cone 06
Shrinkage is 13.5%, 1.6% absorption
Keane Ceramics Mid Fire Speckle is a soft and smooth speckled white clay. Great for domestic ware and a range of medium size throwing and handbuilding applications. Fires creamy white with black speckles in oxidation. Works with mid fire glazes.
Bisque: 1000 firing temp at cone 06
Glaze 1222 firing temp at cone 06
Shrinkage is 13%, 0.5-1% absorption
